In recommending this blog, Austin Monthly stated that I present "an informed view [on land-use issues], albeit one that may be informed by the developers his colleagues represent. You decide."
My firm does indeed include a land-use section, which I've disclosed in the "About" link since I started this blog. But since few people click on that link, this is a good time to reiterate that disclosure.
My practice is limited to products-liability and commercial litigation. I have never represented developers (or anyone else) in a land-use dispute. But it is a fact that my 110-lawyer firm includes some prominent developer attorneys. Make of that what you will.
I will say that I have little interaction with them other than to verify that they are not involved in a land-use dispute I want to write about. If I write about a land-use dispute, neither I nor my firm nor a firm client (to my knowledge, at least) has a stake in it.
The opinions on this blog are mine and mine alone.
